End-of-Year Medication Pick-up and Vaccine Notification

Hello parents! It’s almost SUMMER! ☀️

Please note the following as we close out the school year:

  1. If your student has had any medication at school this year, you will need to pick it up from the Glen Hills office on or before the last day of school (June 11th). After that, it will be available at the office by appointment only until Friday, June 19th. After that date, your student’s medication will be disposed of. If your student is attending Summer Academy, their medication will be kept at Glen Hills for them to take as indicated throughout Summer Academy unless you indicate otherwise.

  1. Additionally, for students going into 7th grade for the 2026-2027 school year, the Wisconsin Student Immunization Law requires that all students entering 7th grade have record of either receiving or waiving a booster dose of Tdap, which is a vaccine that provides protection against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis. Record of receiving/waiving a dose of the MenACWY is required as well, which protects against meningococcal bacteria. Please consult your child’s physician about these vaccine(s). As most pediatrician offices are scheduling weeks if not months in advance, please schedule an appointment early in order to be ready in the Fall when school starts back up again.

Thank you so much! Please feel free to reach out if you need anything at all!
