Registration Enrollment & Verification 

Enrollment/Registration

As a public school system, we welcome all students who live within the district's boundaries and meet state age and health requirements. For specific enrollment information, please contact your child's school. 

 

Only a legal guardian living at the student’s primary address can register a student.

Before you submit make sure you have everything correct before clicking the submission button.

You can not edit it or upload documents after your application has been submitted.

Please make sure you have this information ready for each student in your household.

  • Household - current address, phone number
  • Guardians - address, phone number, email address
  • Emergency Contacts - addresses, phone numbers
  • Health - conditions, medications, and immunization record
  • Proof of Residency
      • Document 1
        • Current property tax bill (homeowners); or current lease with leasing agent contact info (long term renters); or month-to-month lease with verification from the leasing agent via letter (month-to-month renters).
      • Document 2
        • Current utility bill with parent/guardian name and address on it

If your immunization documents are in digital form, you can upload them and attach them to the application.

Many banks or utility companies offer digital copies, or you can scan or take a photo of these documents with a phone and email it to yourself to get a digital copy.

If you do not upload documents, you must still submit the online registration form. Then contact your school office for further instruction or to bring your documents to the school.

Once you’ve gone through all the sections, you will submit the registration form . Don’t forget you can save the application and return to it later. You cannot edit an application or upload documents after it has been submitted.

    Notice of Educational Options For Children Who Reside in the School District

    The Glendale-River Hills School District offers students a variety of educational options to children who reside in the District. The District’s primary educational pathway and instructional program for students involve a progression from 4-year old kindergarten through 8th grade leading to the Nicolet High School District (grades 9-12). The District's special programming components include:

    • Early childhood programming for students who are at least 3 years old, but not school age;
    • Special education programming for students with disabilities;
    • English language learner support; and
    • Gifted and talented enrichment and support.

    Educational options for students who are enrolled in the Glendale-River Hills School District that involve part-time attendance at an educational institution other than a district school includes the Course Options Program through which students may apply to take up to two courses at a time at another educational institution, subject to state and local eligibility requirements, including the limitation that the courses must satisfy a high school graduation requirement.

    Additional educational options for children who reside in the District that involve full-time enrollment/attendance at a school, program or other educational institution that is not a school or instrumentality of the Glendale-River Hills School District include the following:

    • Full-time Open Enrollment involving physical attendance in a public school of a nonresident school district or attendance through a virtual charter school that is associated with a nonresident school district.
    • Beginning with the 2016-17 school year, a child with a disability who meets the program’s specific eligibility requirements may apply to attend an eligible, participating private school under a scholarship awarded through the state’s “Special Needs Scholarship Program,” as established under section 115.7915 of the state statutes.
    • Enrollment in a private school participating in the Wisconsin parental choice program.
    • Enrollment in a private school of the family’s choosing (at the family’s own cost, as applicable).
    • Enrollment in a home-based private educational program as provided under state law. 
    • Educational options for children who reside in the Glendale-River Hills School District but who are enrolled in and attending a private school or home-based private educational program include the following:
    • Such students have the opportunity to attend summer school classes/programs offered in the District.
    • Students who are enrolled in a home-based private educational program have the opportunity to apply for approval to take up two courses per semester in public schools as provided under section 118.53 and participate in district interscholastic athletics and other district extracurricular activities as provided under section 118.133.

    Education of Homeless Children and Youth

    Children of homeless individuals and unaccompanied homeless youth (youth not in physical custody of parent/guardian) residing in the Glendale-River Hills School District shall have equal access to the same free, appropriate public education as provided to other children and youths that reside in the Glendale-River Hills School District. They shall be provided services comparable to services offered other children attending the Glendale-River Hills School District, including transportation services, educational services for which the children/youths meet eligibility criteria (e.g. special education, Title I programming, gifted and talented programming), vocational and technical education programs, and school nutrition programs. No homeless child or youth shall be required to attend a separate school or program for homeless children and shall not be stigmatized by school personnel.
