Whether you're already part of our school family or considering joining our community, we’re proud to offer a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where students grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

Our dedicated staff works closely with families to provide a strong foundation in core academics, while also offering enriching co-curricular activities, innovative learning opportunities, and a focus on leadership, responsibility, and kindness. From student support services to extracurricular clubs and athletics, we strive to meet the unique needs of every learner.

More Information

photo of Principal Williams smiling and wearing a bow tieWe are looking forward to a successful school year and want each of our scholars to experience academic and social success. Fostering a positive and productive learning environment requires all staff, scholars and families/caregivers to share the same commitment to schoolwide expectations. The Glen Hills Way defines who we are as a working and learning community through its focus on Respect, Responsibility, and Inclusion.

Schoolwide expectations for scholars are laid out in the Family and Student Handbook. We ask that our families/caregivers take time to review these expectations and discuss them with your scholar.  School staff and scholars will spend time clarifying, reflecting on, and discussing the Glen Hills Way and expectations during the first days of school and throughout the school year.

Here are a few tips to help your child achieve their full potential:

  • Establish a consistent homework routine: Designate a quiet, well-lit space for homework and set a regular time for its completion.
  • Encourage reading: Read with your child daily, even for just 15-20 minutes. This helps develop vocabulary, comprehension, and a love of reading.
  • Limit screen time: Set reasonable limits on cell phone, video games, and other electronic devices, especially during study time.
  • Monitor social media usage: Parents should monitor their child’s social media usage to help protect them from online risk such as cyber bullying and inappropriate content, while teaching healthy and responsible online habits.
  • Celebrate effort and progress: Focus on your child's hard work and improvement, rather than just grades.
  • Ensure adequate sleep and nutrition: A well-rested and nourished child is better able to focus and learn.
  • Communicate with the teacher: Use ParentSquare to stay in regular contact with your child's teacher to discuss their progress, address any concerns, and collaborate on strategies to support their learning.

We believe that by working together, we can create a strong foundation for your child's academic and personal growth. Please do not hesitate to reach out to your child's teacher or the school office if you have any questions or need additional support.
